Conquering Challenges: Flare

Dear Reader, it’s been some time since our heroine has posted. Many apologies for worrying those of you who worried and much gratitude for the kind wishes.

Fibromyalgia is a nasty bugger. I’m afraid a particularly devastating flare put me out of commission for the last five weeks or so. I am improving and hope to be back to my regularly irregular schedule soon.

In the meantime, I hope you and yours are well and happy.

Take care!

Thanks, Johanna. You’ve been a continual bastion of support and comfort. I’m not quite back, but I’ll settle for back-ish.

      Take care,
      Jess

    Hey Jess,

I’ve laid off Twitter for a while. Go there from time to time to check on my friends. Noticed had not been Tweeting. Came to the website, saw your write-up on your flare-up!
So very sorry!! You are a ray of sunshine for so many of us out here. I pray for healing and health for you. I hope you are more than back-ish in a very short while. Love reading your stuff on your site and your tweets! Thanks for being YOU and hurry back! Love ya,
    Charlie

      Hey, Charlie –

It’s so nice to hear from you and what kind things to say. Thank you! I’m working my way back a little more each day. Too easy to overdo things, as I’ve demonstrated to myself a few times. I hope you and yours are well. Has your vacation from Twitter been constructive?

      Take care,
      Jess

Thank you, sweets. Woke up this morning to find my mind is clear – a very good sign. Hoping the body’s willingness to cooperate isn’t far away.

      Miss you!

      Take care,
